I’ve been a part of YAC for almost five years now, and I still continue to learn and grow as an artist. I gravitate towards pastels and acrylic painting, and my art is focused and inspired by nature, mostly landscapes or animals. For this show, I used chalk pastels to capture some local gems–Pacific Grove’s magic carpet, some of the charming golden hills of Salinas, and a view of Bixby Bridge in Big Sur.
