Hello lovely people, my name is Lorena Hernandez-Rivera and I have been an artist at YAC since the summer of 2014, and it fills me with so much joy and excitement to return to YAC in the summers and university breaks. I am a rising senior at the University of California Santa Cruz studying Latin American and Latinx Studies and Sociology, and it means to much to me to have two places to call home. YAC, my lovely mentors, and my beautiful friends  I've made a YAC have provided me with so much support, inclusion, love, life advice, and so much more. It is such a treat and a privilege to work alongside my mentors in their art journeys as I am still finding my own. Thank you everyone!
