My name is Julia Blakely, and I am a lover of all types of mediums (except watercolor). A majority of my art centers around a single inspiration whether it is eyes, a color, or a specific style. I enjoy taking realistic things and abstracting them to fit my point of view. Most of the time, I start a piece with no specific direction, and usually end up in a very different spot than I expect. That is why art is so exciting to me, it is something that doesn't necessarily need to be planned. These three pieces don't necessarily have a clear inspiration other than what caught my attention in that second. Art is a very important part of my life, and I thank YAC for helping me in my artistic endeavors!
